Hmm, how's the John Cale?
I saw him many, many years ago and was so disappointed when he didn't play my ultimate favorite John Cale song: "big white cloud."

I listened to John Cale a lot many years ago.
Have most of the albums on vinyl and a month ago I picked up Vintage Violence (1970), Paris 1919 (1973) and the compilation "The Island Years", which compiles the albums Fear (1974), Slow Dazzle (1975) and Helen Of Troy (1975), on CD.
All of them have some great songs. Vintage Violence and Paris 1919 is probably my favorites. And yes, Big White Cloud, from Vintage Violence is a great song! Gideon's Bible is also a great track on Vintage Violence. But my favorite John Cale song is probably "The Soul of Patrick Lee" from "Church of Anthrax" (with vocals by Adam Miller).

One of my favorite John Cale songs is "Big White Cloud." I saw him perform once and that was one of the songs he did NOT do! I was so upset, I sat in my seat and was dumbfounded!
Two of my recent faves:
Pernice Brothers: Discover a Lovelier You
Lucksmiths: Warmer Corners
